Hi which PHP Version are you using?
I think the problem is a PHP version lower than 5.4. You have two options:
1. Download an older verion here https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-access-manager/advanced/ at the “PREVIOUS VERSIONS” section. Delete the current version under wp-content/plugins and upload the older version.
2. Update your PHP version to a version higher or equal PHP 5.4.
I would recommend the second option, because the latest version of PHP 5.3 is more than four years old and didn’t received any security updates since that, which is a huge security issue on your site. Use at least PHP 5.6 which still receives security updates and is full compatible to PHP 5.3. I’m sure your hoster will assist you.
No the problem it’s not there. I have a PHP Version 5.6.29.
Ok so I need more information what exactly isn’t working. Best would be an error log.
I don’t know how to find the error log. Can you guide me? Or i can gib=ve you access to my wordpress dashboard if it is easyer for you.
We are down also: httpd-error.log shows PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/user-access-manager/user-access-manager.php on line 168
We have WP 4.7.2 and php 5.3.3 (which is part of rhel so we can readly upgrade)
@gallantm UAM 2.0.0 requires at least PHP 5.4 so please upgrade and it should work.
@happynailsgr Your hoster could provide you the error log. If you don’t mind if your page went down again I could give it a try, but I don’t like to debug in a live environment… Could you describe it little more detailed what went down means for you. Do you get a white page?
Does it work with version 2.0.6?
Closed since there isn’t any feedback since several days. If this one isn’t resolved please don’t hesitate to write and mark it unresolved again.
