You posted your concern 11 hours before I saw it, perhaps that was enough time for you to fix it?

Hi Carlos,
I am actually still facing the issue. I did not do anything, it just came back live after some time. However, it crashed again about 6 hours later for a period of 10min. I still do not know why it keeps crashing.Do you happen to have a possible solution or something I can do to troubleshoot?

I am sorry to say that I am totally new and very frustrated user of Word Press and I am looking for answers more than I can give solutions.
Overall, in your opinion, do you feel that you should have NOT upgraded to v4.0?

When it crashes do you simply get a white page or any type of error?
Consider enabling debugging. If the problem is WordPress, PHP etc. related chances are you will capture the problem in the debug.log file which you can see at /wp-content/debug.log
Also check with your host to make sure they have not experienced any issues
