Webhook Failure
-
Hello,
We are receiving a large number of emails from Stripe every day for two of our websites where we are using your plugin.
Could you please investigate and let us know what might be causing this?
Additionally, I attempted to switch to OAuth. After being redirected to Stripe, installing the app, and returning to the website, the OAuth connection was not successfully activated.
Below is the message we received from Stripe.
HelloThere were issues submitting requests in live mode to a webhook endpoint linked to your Bubble Tent Germany account. Stripe sends webhook events to your server to alert you to what happens in your Stripe account, such as payouts and new invoices.
The URL of the failed webhook endpoint is: https://book-a-bubble.de/?wc-api=wt_stripe
You (or someone on your team) has set your Stripe account to submit events to this URL. You can change your account’s webhook endpoints in the dashboard .
A failed webhook usually has no effect on your payments or payouts. However, please note the following:
If you’re using subscriptions, we’ll need your webhook endpoint to alert you to new invoices. These bills can be delayed for up to three days if your endpoint can’t receive them.
If you’re using Checkout and need the checkout.session.completed event as part of your purchase fulfillment process , you should review your completed payments. This way you can make sure that you have processed all past purchases.
We’ve tried delivering event notifications to the endpoint 87 times since May 23, 2025 at 00:42:02 UTC. If this endpoint is important to your application, you should try to resolve the issue immediately. If you don’t need the webhook endpoint, you can delete it in your Stripe webhook settings . We will stop sending notifications to your webhook on June 1, 2025 at 00:42:02 UTC.
Here’s an overview of the errors we’ve received when trying to send webhook events:
87 requests had other errors while sending the webhook event.
In order for Stripe to recognize the transmission of the webhook event, you must send back a status code between HTTP 200 and 299.
For more information about these errors and the recent events in your account, see the event list and request logs in the dashboard.
See our documentation for more information on using webhooks.
Best wishes
Ihr Stripe-Team
