Web Invoice vs WP-Invoice

    Im testing out some invoicing plugins, Web Invoice and WP Invoice seem to be pretty much identical, is there any advantage of using one over the other?

    I wondered the same thing so I decided to parallel test them both..

    The author of Web Invoice makes claims to performance enhancements in his plugin. However, from my parallel testing IMHO the only REAL difference between Web Invoice vs WP-Invoice from a FUNCTIONAL standpoint is the addition of two additional payment processors:

    • Moneybookers
    • AlertPay

    The other useful, but not quite mature feature of the Web Invoice plugin creates a PDF invoice which is emailed along with the normal e-mail invoice. However, I’ve had nothing but issues with the PDF generator including errors and the fact that you cannot brand the resulting PDF invoice with your company logo. Nice feature, but still not quite ready and there seems to be no way to turn it off..

    Hope this helps.. You might consider parallel testing to decide which one you’ll go with.. I’m still a little on the fence..
