Web Host Control Panel

    Hi guys.. need a and.. trying to do the install thru my host’s control panel > Fantastico > WordPress

    I keep getting the error;

    Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user ‘karand27’@’localhost’ (using password: YES) in /tmp/cpanel_phpengine.1322543934.11184yjskCQIL6z on line 1686
    Access denied for user ‘karand27’@’localhost’ (using password: YES)

    Is anyone able to help me out please? it’s a tab bit frustrating haha

    Looks like you haven’t set up your database user correctly. Try asking your hosts for assistance.

    Typically, Fantastico sets up the database and user. If it’s not doing that, and it’s not – do what esmi said and contact your host. You can also install WordPress manually.
