wc3 Validation mobile menu

Was just validating my site and notice that when I disable the mobile menu I get no errors while when I have a mobile menu I get two of following errors

Element div not allowed as child of element button in this context. (Suppressing further errors from this subtree.)

Just wondering why is this the case? Using the following widgets:
ICIT Weather
Virtue social links.
