Got it! I restored a backup to downgrade WordPress and everything’s cool now!
So it’s a 4.9.2 issue.

I tried downgrading to 4.8 but still have similar problems. The PAID plugins will NOT activate even after following the requirements to the letter. Every PAID plugin causes a php error while trying to activate and the site then starts getting the same error because it is trying to verify the license which I can’t get to because of the stupid error. Tried contacting support but it appears there is NO support since I only received ONE email stating he would look into it. What a shame because this appeared to be a very nice plugin and would have worked great if only it would work.
