    The plugin is working as expected with PNG images, but jpegs often produced washed out colours, especially when using colours that aren’t high contrast. For example, I’m trying to make an image using a dark blue (#31355d) and a light red (#ef4125).

    Here’s the original image:

    (there is a white and black blog on this image to show that the colours produced aren’t the same red and blue used in the settings).

    I have ImageMagick installed on the server, so it is using that version of the plugin.

    Hi jfgx, thanks for the detailed feedback. I tested this out on a few servers and was only able to replicate it on one using an older version of ImageMagick. Do you know what version is installed on your server?

    The version installed on the affected server is 3.1.2.

    I have since moved the site from my local server to a staging server and the problem has fixed itself. Looks like it is to do with ImageMagick being out of date.
