    Hi everyone,

I installed Hide my WP, and there was an error in the configuration:

Warning: Zend OPcache API is restricted by “restrict_api” configuration directive in /www/xxxxxx.com.ar/xxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/hide-my-wp/classes/Tools.php on line 1037

Although this originated after configuring XML-RPC as active, I did not want to disable it to verify that the error only appeared in the plugin configuration panel and not in the whole site, once verified, it only appears here in the dashboard of the plugin.

Any way to correct it to avoid other mistakes? Thanks.

Thank you @anabelladg32 for your feedback. We appreciate your help in making the plugin better.

The warning you got is not affecting the website’s functionality. Hide My WP plugin is trying to clear the cache when you save the settings to make sure the new paths are working.

We will check the error message and see if we can come with a solution for that for the next version of the plugin.

    Best, John

Hi John, thanks for your answer, I am using another plugin for cache maintenance, is it likely that it is interfering with the process and does that function too?

If you recommend that I remove the other plugin so that Hide my WP does not cause this problem, I will proceed to remove it. If the plugin performs this same task as well.

    Thanks again!

I don’t think you need to deactivate other plugins, Hide My WP should work with any other cache or security plugin.

It’s true that some settings need compatibility but this is doable by our side or the other authors.

We always add compatibility with other plugins and based on every feedback we will make the plugin better every day.
