  • Hello, since an automated update to 4.4.2 two paragraphs of warning texts have appeared on the left hand side of our webpages. The home page is fine, but when you click on an image which takes you to a new page with more information it comes up. We are using the template called Imbalance The text says the following:

Warning: include(/home/pvvrnbcq/public_html/wp-content/themes/imbalance/sidebar-featured) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/pvvrnbcq/public_html/wp-content/themes/imbalance/sidebar.php on line 3

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/home/pvvrnbcq/public_html/wp-content/themes/imbalance/sidebar-featured’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/pvvrnbcq/public_html/wp-content/themes/imbalance/sidebar.php on line 3

  • It sounds like your theme is not yet compatible with WP 4.4.2.

As this is a warning, your site will still function. (Non-logged-in users shouldn’t see this.)

But you should definitely bring it to the attention of the theme developers:

Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately the warning can be seen even if you aren’t logged in. Hopefully the theme developers can help.
