    Hello,

I installed this plugin recently but i havent ran a first scan yet.
When i tried that it says:

    Scan Failed
The previous scan has failed. Some sites may need adjustments to run scans reliably.

It also doesnt come past Server state.
this is the log it outputs:
[MAY 23 19:36:40] Warning: scandir(“directory”): Access is denied. (code: 5) in …\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\lib\wfScanEngine.php on line 759 Warning: scandir(..\stichtingbrunnera.nl\wwwroot/): failed to open dir: Bad file descriptor in ..\stichtingbrunnera.nl\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\lib\wfScanEngine.php on line 759 Warning: scandir(): (errno 9): Bad file descriptor in ..\stichtingbrunnera.nl\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\lib\wfScanEngine.php on line 759

  • Hey @cynen,

This looks like a permissions issue.

Can you right-click on your wwwroot directory -> Properties:

Then click on the Security tab, from there check the permissions for Users.

The read permission should be checked.

Alternatively, you can ask your host for their help was well.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hello @wfgerald

    Thanks for your response.

I have already tried giving enough permissions to the wwwroot folder (755 to all directories and 644 to all files) with no succes. They also told me it would probably be my permissions not being set right.

    Thanks,

    Cynen

    Hey @wfgerald,

Can you check with your host to make sure the Owner/Group permissions match for PHP and your WordPress installation?

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
