Warning message in settings (chat not appearing)

    I have installed and activated the plugin for the first time including linking it to our Facebook page however no chat is appearing on the website.

    This may be related to an error message in the plugin settings under “Advanced Configuration” as follows:

    Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /var/www/vip4/sites/vip5293145/httpd/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/facebook-messenger-customer-chat/options.php on line 157

    Hi @a2ruedas,

    Thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear you’re encountering this error. This is a known issue when running the plugin in a PHP8 environment, which will be patched in the next release (soon!).

    Thanks for reporting, and apologies for any inconvenience caused. The rest of the plugin should work fine – it’s just the Advanced Configuration options which are affected by this.
