Could you please try creating a new feed under Facebook Feed > All Feeds, customize it to your liking, and then replacing the old shortcode with the new one for this specific feed? It should be something along the lines of [custom-facebook-feed feed=1]
If you still receive this error after the change or if you have already done so, please reach out to us using our support form here and provide the System Info found by clicking the Help button in the top right, navigating to the support page.

This is for the Instagram feed plugin, not the Facebook feed plugin.
Checking that the variables are arrays before calling array_merge would prevent the error from being thrown.
I’ll open a support ticket at the suggested location.

My apologies – you are correct. That being said, this is the support forum for the Custom Facebook Feed (Smash Balloon Social Post Feed) plugin, and not the Instagram Feed (Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed), which added some confusion on my end.
