• We had installed w3 cache to test for a review for our readers.
we tried to reach w3 3 time via their web site, but no reply at all.

w3 Installed and worked fine, using memcached (1Gig of Ram for memcache, of 12 Gig). We turned it off/disabled it to run some “no cache” tests. We did NOT uninstall, just de-activated temporarily.

After testing without it of, When we turned it back on, we got:

Fatal error: Class ‘Memcache’ not found in /var/www/vhosts/AppBuzzinga.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Cache/Memcached.php on line 38

Memcache is still in place and running as before (that we never changed). Can you enlighten us as to why the plugin will no longer activate?
