    Hi,

    I need to know whether Booking Calendar can fulfil most of my spec:

    Volunteer Schedule for a community farm: http://www.ozcf.co.za/

    Admin creates activities (eg. weeding, digging etc.)
    Admin specifies activities as time slots to be volunteered for
    (eg. digging, Saturday 9am to 11am)

    Single activity can be specified as multiple overlapping time slots
    (eg. digging, Saturday 9am to 11am x 2; and digging, Saturday 11am to 1pm)

    Activities can be fixed-duration or open-duration
    Activities can be once-off or recurring

    Volunteer users can sign-up (Admin moderated) and sign-in
    Volunteer can see available time slots on a front-end calendar
    Volunteer can book time slots on the front-end calendar
    All slots should always show, with unavailable slots showing as having been taken
    Volunteer can edit / delete own time slots
    Volunteer can log actual time worked (as opposed to booked time)
    Volunteers can see their own log
    Admin can edit any volunteer’s time slots
    Admin can see all logs and export as CSV

    Would all or some of this be possible with Booking Calendar?
    If not all, then are there possible work-arounds or any other suggestions?

    Hello.
    Unfortunately, the most of these features do not available in the Booking Calendar versions. Sorry.

    1)If you need to make the several reservations per the same timeslot at same date in the same calendar, so it does not possible in any versions of Booking Calendar.

    At the Booking Calendar Business Small and Business Medium versions are possible to make the bookings for the specific time slot.
    Please note, if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

    At the Booking Calendar Business Large version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it’s mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability.

    2) The booking can be only one time booking for the selected date(s). It does not possible to define the recurrent booking.

    3) the visitor who made the booking can edit or cancel own booking, only by using the “edit/cancel” link from the email about this booking on the front-end of the website.

    4) These features “* Volunteer can log actual time worked (as opposed to booked time). * Volunteers can see their own log” are also not supporting.

    Please test Booking Calendar live demos at this page to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.
