Visual Editor vs HTML Editor

    Hi … i have version 2.6.3 … when i try to write a post & page, i only see the html version. I have:
    reloaded wp-admin & wp-includes.
    removed plugins (popular contest, wp-print & get image) and reloaded.
    followed many suggesions on the wp support forum etc..,
    Nothing has worked to date.

    My users profile does not give me an option to switch to visual editor – which is what i am after – as i know nothing about html (newbie)

    Please advise how i could turn on the visual editor.

    It seems that there are a small number of us (having looked at similar topics) with roughly the same problem.

    We’ve all had trouble within the last few days.

    There are some plugins which disable Visual Editor. Deactivate plugins one by one, clear cache and cookies each time and go to Write Post/Page to check to see which plugin conflicts with the Visual Editor mode.
