Visual Editor Not Working 4.3.1

    I have recently updated WP to 4.3.1 and now have found that the visual editor is not working any more. (tabs for text/visual are there but tooltips are missing, additionally the Visual editor has space for typing but all the information is blanked out).

    Things I HAVE TRIED:
    – Disabling the visual editor and re-enabling in user controls
    – Deactivating ALL Plugins
    – Changing theme to 2012 which actually made it work again (Does this mean the problem is with my current theme? (I am using The 7)
    – Activated script debugging in wp-config.php the warning in the console is as below

    “load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,jquery-ui-core,plupload,farbtastic&ver…:5

    Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user’s experience. For more help, check http://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/.”

    This has all happened since updating word press to 4.3.1
    Any help on resolving this visual editor issue is much appreciated

    Yes, that means that a function conflict in your preferred theme is breaking the visual editor.

    Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
