    Hi Team,

Firstly, the theme is great. So, congratulations on a job well done. However I seem to be having some issues with the Visual Editor itself.
Nothing I type on the visual editor section is visible nor does it add to the word count. However, if switch to the text tab and add it, it seems to work just fine.

And it is a theme related issues, because I switched to a default 2018 theme as well as another one, and had no trouble typing out anything on the visual editor page.

    Could you please help?

  • Hello @iwrotethose,

Please make sure you are using the latest version of the theme.

    Thanks, Poonam.
Yes, I am. The current version is 1.1.86.

I’ve already tried disabling plugins and the rest of those steps. It seems fine on other themes.

However, I did try upgrading to the new Gutenberg editor and it seems to be working fine. So it’s some sort of issue with the classic editor alone.

    Thanks,
    Sid

An additional update is that now for some strange reason, the images are not loading on new Pages. They seem to load on posts fine.

However on any new pages, any new images that are added don’t show up. They show up in the editor and preview, but once you update the page and try to view it, it doesn’t.

It also doesn’t show up on the archive pages. For instance, look at this :

There are featured images, but they aren’t loading. However, on preview of the page, it seems to be fine.

    *Update*

The image issue on the pages seem to have resolved after disabling and enabling the Orbit plugin. However any idea why the classic visual editor issue caused problems in the first place?
