Visual editing mode does not work. Broken? Please help.

Hello!

I recently installed the new wordpress version, and eveything works fine except the post editing screen for either a blog post or a new page.

It seems to default on html editing mode, even though it says visual on the tab. When i click html, the editing box disappears (and the visual tab is still select) entirely and i cannot do anything unless i reload the page!

Is there any fix for this? I don’t really want to delete the installation and re-attempt only to find the same problem.
