Visit Site button not working

I just installed wordpress in this directory
thewindchilllegacy.org/wordpress
everything is under that directory
This comes up fine:
http://www.thewindchilllegacy.org/wordpress/index.php
if I type it all in, which is fine because I want to link to from the main part of my website.
When I click on the “Site Admin” button I get
The website declined to show this webpage
HTTP 403
Most likely causes:
This website requires you to log in.

If I manually type in the url
http://www.thewindchilllegacy.org/wordpress/wp-admin/index.php

it goes to the dashboard.

It’s when I click the “site Admin” or the “View Site” that it doesn’t automatically add the index.php part.

my wordpress address and blog address are both http://www.thewindchilllegacy.org/wordpress

My hosting company is crystaltech, it’s an iis server.
