Video Player for homepage

    I’m trying to find a video player where it will give me code to embed the .mp4 into the homepage. All I find are ones that add a button to the text editor for inclusion in posts and pages but I’m just wanting to wrap it in a .div like a slider.

    Any ideas, i keep downloading and then having to deactivate when they don’t do what I need.

    By the way, my client does not want the YouTube thing so that’s why this is harder than normal.

    I use the TinyMCE Advanced editor plugin and it’s insert Media tool; works just fine with self-hosted MP4s and inserting with the Visual editor, selecting media_dlg.iframe as the Type.

    If u know little much about coding stuff…U can refer these codex pages to create ur own short code for video player……

    just an option from my side
    u can upload file to any video site and embed it in ur home page…. there are lot of plugins available out there to to embed them in widgets or using shortcode API

    As of 3.6, that wull be built in to WP, so there’s that too.

    Thank for the responses, my Internet went down. I didn’t make myself clear. My client is being weird about using YouTube or Vimeo but I know that some of her folks probably won’t have updated their browser so I’m leary of using the new code. I was looking for a player that would handle the needs if any one knows of one that exists.
