Video not working in Custom Content

    I am trying to embed a video in to my front page by using the Custom Content feature.

    I have tried; Posting a link directly in, posting the embed code from YouTube into the [text] section, uploading my video to WordPress and choosing the video from ‘Add Media’, and pasting the link into the ‘Insert Video from URL’ option under ‘Add Media’.

    In just about every case all it shows is the text of the link, not the video

    Please advise.
