Very poor customer service

I tried the system for a client but it wasn’t really suitable. I decided to abandon the project and didn’t carry using it. The following year I received an invoice for auto renewal which I wasn’t aware of when signing up. On the day I received the invoice for the following year I politely asked to have my subscription cancelled and be refunded. They refused point blank citing terms and conditions but offered no reason as to why I can’t receive a refund. Tone of customer very blunt and unhelpful. Not exactly what you would call an ethical approach to customer support.
