Hi!
Did write the same on the aothoer site – the echo in my case is:
The problem is that you are displaying a large image using the teaser-thumb handle which was designed to handle images of small sized that fit the theme’s grid. You’ll likely encounter issues that are all over the theme’s CSS with this handle. I recommend you declare your own handle and use it for that image.
@chefgd: What’s your site? Can I have a look?
Hi, I’m having the same problem. I currently switched to the pinbloard theme. The front page thumbnail of the posts I wrote prior to switching themes are clear, but the posts I’ve written since switching are blurry.
I tried the Thumbnail Rebuild plugin but that doesn’t seem to help.
@geri70: I just looked at your site and it seems you solved this. Can you offer any assistance?
You can view my website HERE.
Thank you in advance.

Hi NecessaryIndulg!
Actually I didn’t solve it.
I now working with a plugin, that displays the pictures I upload on flickr,
that’s why there is no blurry…
I will not switch back until the theme gets an update, then I will check it again…

Thank you, Geri!
It is frustrating and I hope they make the update soon.
What plugin are you using? I use flickr, too, and would love to create the featured image from there instead of having to upload the photos to my site. I use the photo’s HTML for my posts, but haven’t found a way to do this with the featured images.
Thank you for you help! Greetings from Florida!

I’m using this plugin:

For me it’s not the final solution, but one I can live with…
What I was looking for (but with no success) was a plugin/theme which has the grid-style like flickr, but the latest post is a bit bigger than the others…
So I have to deal with this design now…
