    I’ve just searched for Cookie Law Info in plugins to install on a new site, and it seems it is now called GDPR Cookie Consent and has author as “webtoffee” (links to a commercial plugin) instead of “markwt” as before. Does this mean it has a new developer, and if so what is the situation re the free version?

    Also, both plugins are version 1.5.5 so existing installs of “Cookie Law Info” are not giving the option to update to latest version (i.e. GDPR Cookie Consent released 48 mins ago).

    As previously suggested in another thread, could new versions be given new version numbers so they update properly?

    Hi @robf

    We just launched the PRO version of the plugin with more features like granular consent restriction…etc. Both the free version and PRO version are developing by the same team webtoffee. Free version will be keep going as it is with it’s support and updates. We didn’t changed the version number as it will not affect any functionalities of the plugin.
