• On August 5 I started having problems with Cleantalk 6.85 breaking the site. It would go back online for a few minutes and then break the site again. I’m using WordPress 7.0.2 and bluehost servers. I had not had any issues prior to this latest release. Thanks.

    Hi @thathappyreader,
    Thank you for reaching out.

Could you please describe what exactly happens when the site breaks? For example, do you see any specific error message? If there are any PHP errors, please share them as well.
This will help us better understand the issue and investigate it.

    Thanks.

I would get a Service Unavailable error: The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problem. Try again later.Additionally a 503 Service Unavailable error was encountered while try to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Hello.
    Thank you for waiting.

We’ve made fixes. You can use this fixed version:

    https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/fix-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip

    – Go to the WordPress Administrator Panel -> Plugins.
    – Find the plugin ‘Anti-Spam by CleanTalk’ -> Deactivate.
    – After the automatic page refresh, find the plugin again ‘Anti-Spam by CleanTalk’ -> Delete. Confirm files deletion.
    – Download the plugin archive from the link.
    – Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin.
    – Choose the downloaded archive and press ‘Install Now’.
    – Once you have installed the plugin, activate it and check that the access key matches the one on your CleanTalk dashboard.

    Did it help?
