• I’ve uploaded my spanish translation of WPtouch Mobile Plugin, version 3.1.3, to /wp-content/plugins/wptouch/lang folder.

I’ve tried these three files: wptouch-es_ES.mo, wptouch-pro-es_ES.mo and wp-touch-pro-3-es_ES.mo, but none of them works.

Which is the correct name of the .mo file, in order to get WPtouch translated?

  • Custom translations can be uploaded to your wp-content folder, the correct path to where WPtouch will look is:

    .../wp-content/wptouch-data/lang

You want your custom languages in this folder because they will survive plugin updates and not be deleted.

The correct naming should be wptouch-pro-es.mo, as the new free version is a stripped down version of our Pro product.

Thank you very much for the tip, BraveNewCode. The translation works fine.
