Version 3.0

With the release of version 3 you may notice that you can no longer view and install plugins directly from the Restore Lost Functionality settings screen, but instead are taking to the standard plugins screen, where a search for the plugin is performed instead.

This is because, with the addition of “Shiny Updates” in WP 4.6, the old ability to install straight from this plugin’s settings screen stopped working. Although I’ve reached out to the developers to try and work out what I need to do to get this working again I have not, as yet, had an answer and I’ve been unable to work it out myself. Therefore the new functionality was added, which is better than the pop-up windows simply not working any more.

As soon as I find a resolution to this, I shall add it to a future release.
