Hello! Yes, I should update that – it’s no longer there. Easy Age Verifier is now a top-level menu item, and should be located toward the bottom of your menu.
If your verifier isn’t popped up, it’s probably one of these things:
- When you upgraded, the database did not transfer properly
- Your verifier pop up used a custom CSS class in the previous version, and that was inadvertently reset when the upgrade was made
First off, visit your dashboard and click Age Verifier. It’s probably located at the bottom of your dashboard menu. This will take you to the customizer, where the verifier settings now reside
Second, check to see if those settings are not filled in. If they’re not, then something went wrong with your upgrade and you’ll need to re-enter the data into these fields (sorry about that!).
If they are filled in, than check the “Display the age verifier in the customizer” checkbox. If the verifier does not pop up when you check this checkbox, let me know.

Thank you for the quick reply.Could not getting the pop up in the customizer view as well as in the front view.However getting two console errors.
“NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error – /wp-content/plugins/easy-age-verifier/lib/assets/templates/default.php”
TypeError: $ is not a function

Well, that could be just about anything honestly. For some reason, your server doesn’t want to load the default template file to run the verifier.
I have a few workarounds, though.
First option:
- In your theme directory, create a new folder called
eav.
- Browse to
wp-content/plugins/easy-age-verifier/lib/assets/templates/ and copy default.php
- paste
default.php into your newly created eav directory.
Second option:
- If you followed the previous steps above, remove the
eav directory you added.
- Open your theme’s
functions.php file.
- Copy and paste this text in your
functions.php file

Again I am stuck on the plugin. I used the second option,Now Age verification pop up is showing but when clicked on the ” I am older.” button it’s pointing to the url /?overAge=I am older. But showing verification pop up again.Can i have a solution.Can you reply ASAP. Waiting for your reply
Hmm…is TypeError: $ is not a function still in your console? What else do you see in your console?

I’m sorry it took so long to get back to you. I have researched this issue a bit deeper, and think I have solved the problem. If you’re still using my verifier, keep your eyes peeled for an update to the plugin that should resolve the issue.
