I tried logging in as a user but I don’t have any way of setting it up unless I am an admin. Very confusing!!!

Ok I see it in the profile. I thought maybe you have to remove the password after an account is paired to get it to work. I’ve now done that. Trying to log in with the account however I get no Launchkey request and WP is saying: ERROR: Invalid username, email address or incorrect password.
You need to login with your WordPress user name not your LaunchKey user name. The account also needs to have been linked via the user profile in WordPress. Please log in with your password and verify the WordPress account is linked. If not link the WordPress account with the appropriate WordPress account at that screen.

ok I’ve done that. See the message above. I now see under the test user that Status is paired and the WordPress password is Removed. It is not asking me for a Launchkey authentication when I log in.

ERROR: The password field is empty.
The password field is empty will occur when either:
- you are not logging in with valid WordPress username
- you are not logging in with valid WordPress username and that user has not been linked to a LaunchKey account
The error occurs when the LaunchKey plugin either cannot find the user or cannot determine the LaunchKey username associated with that user account.

ok. So here again is the situation:
1. The user is logged out
2. The user has an established Launchkey Account and the user is linked to it
3. The user has had the password removed
Now, I try to log the user in but it is not initiating a Launchkey Request and it is expecting a password.
What am I to do now?
I would put the password back with a password reset, log in as the user, and verify the link in the user’s profile.

I can see the users profile because I’m logged in on a different browser
LaunchKey Options:
Status: Paired (green color)
Wordpress Password: Removed (green color)
The same issues exists with the Admin user. I’ve never had an authentication request from the site except when I needed to verify the LaunchKey configuration (and it all worked).
SO I don’t think resetting the password will change anything.
I am assuming you have hit a known issue with WordPress 4.7. We have a release that has not been promoted to stable as it has not completely finished QA. It will likely resolve the issue you are encountering. It is likely that you will have to reinstall the LaunchKey plugin to update with a zip file. Here is a link to that release zip file: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/launchkey.1.4.5.zip. It should be upgraded to stable in the next couple of days as it completes the QA process.
Awesome, glad to hear it. Sorry about all of the difficulty. I will mark this ticket as resolved. Please let us know if you have any other issues.

One last thing yes sorry. Any suggestions for when we make the call for wp_login_form() to remove the password field?
I’m not sure what you are asking. The password field is removed when the LaunchKey plugin is active.
