Vehicle Spec Capture Form

so im building a website for my 4×4 club and i think it would be really cool if there was something in wordpress where you could add mroe information to your user profile. Like i would love for someone to be able to sign up, list the specs for their vehicle in some html formcode and have that information saved to their user profile for everyone to see. Is that possible? has it already been done?
