I dont get it. I choose in variations that the products has no parent, so every product is the same, with a different sku and a different variantvariable (content in liter). But there is still a field called Parent SKU. Why? I thought i clicked no parent. I just dont get it to work, the import creates every product on its own without variations and stuff, im kinda frustrated.

  • Hello,

The parent SKU is created to map the parent product with its variations.

Each variation that is inside a variable product can use a SKU:

Let’s say you are adding variations via CSV Importer and Exporter, in that case, you will want to define a parent SKU that will help to map the product with its variations.

I choose in variations that the products has no parent, so every product is the same

For us to check into this case better, please provide us with a link to that product page. Thanks 🙂
