• hi,

I have just updates WordPress, WooCommerce and Virtue theme free. Now my variations aren’t working anymore. I have tried a different theme and then the variations does work. When chaning back to Virtue theme, the description of the variation are showing, but the picklist isn’t. Also the increasing function isn’t showing.

How can I get the variations and increasing function active again?

    regards

is there any other function within WordPress or WooCommerce where the cookie script is used? so I can be sure, before going back to my host?

If you install the plugin that you can download on this page: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/jquery-cookie-fails-to-load/

Then it should give a temp fix.

As for the script woocommerce adds it to every page.

I have installed that plugin already, but no difference.

If you look at http://www.develop.pc-safe.nl/product/smart-security/, you will see that the variations are selectable, but that the picklist isn’t showing in the way it should be. do you really think that it is a jquery conflict?

It’s not showing because javascript can’t load because the woocommerce cookie javascript is being blocked. (You can see this if you right click using chrome or firefox. click inspect and you will see javascript errors showing)

Do you have the plugin enabled, because looking at your code it’s not taking effect. If you have a cacheing plugin clear it.

I had no caching plugin. I did install one now and cleared all cache, no difference.

javascript isn’t server side, right? so it is not my host I guess.

The javascript is blocked by your host, there is no error, the file can’t be found because it’s blocked. Thus the plugin, right now your file isn’t being loaded form the woocommerce folder which doesn’t make sense. It should be loaded from the woocommerce-jquery-cookie-fix plugin folder. Try deactivating and reactivating the plugin.

if your argument is correct, the javascript should also be blocked in this site: http://www.develop2.pc-safe.nl/product/testproduct/
but there it is working, same WooCommerce, same WordPress and same theme.

My argument is simply based on your error logs which you can see just as easily as I can. By right clicking and clicking inspect. Your getting a 404 error, that is your issue. That is all I am saying. It does work because of that. Until that is fixed it will continue to not work.
