Variations for Simple Product in Emails?

    BACKGROUND
    I have an extension installed that allows customers to enter bulk variations. The extension works great from a user perspective and does exactly what we need. However, for that extension to work correctly products must be setup as a Simple Product.

    At checkout, variations for both Simple products and Variable products are displayed correctly and consistently. Works great.

    ISSUE
    In New Order and Customer emails only variations for Variable Products are displayed with product descriptions. Simple Products in emails only show the product name, overall quantity and price.

    How do I enable variations to display in emails (New Order and Customer) for Simple Products as well?

    Since (by definition) Simple Products don’t have any variations (at least not in a standard WooCommerce setup), it’s normal that the emails do not show this.

    I’m not sure which plugin you use to associate variations with Simple products, but I would suggest to reach out to their support team to see if they can help with that and give you directions on what code is needed to show this in emails.
