    Hello,

I have an issue with my variations.

I have set up a variation on my Woocommerce store and the variation is shown variations page (Products-Variations). All products use the same variation, however only few are tied to the variations when opening Produvts-Variations-One specific variation. The difference is also under each product, when modifing the product varations:
Screenshot of the product variation not linked to the store variations
Screenshot of the variation linked to the store variations

What might be the issue here? Why some product variations are linked to the store variation I created beforehand and some are not, just a list separated with vertical line?

    How doI amend that?

    Hello,

When adding an attribute to a product, are you able to select a global attribute and click Add? https://snipboard.io/ItXECD.jpg
If “Custom product attribute” is selected, you’d have to manually create values, and those values are not linked to the global attribute values.
You can read more about variable products here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/

Indeed, some attributes are not associated to the global product attribute and therefore variations are not associated (this must be because of the incorrect importing). How can I change that?

When I export the existing products I notice that some of the variations are not global (zero whereas some are 1), thus, I believe, the issue. What would be your suggestions how to modify the products in bulk and alter the variation to global?

    Hi,

OK, in your CSV file, look for a product that is properly linked to global attributes. Since all your products use the same variation, you can copy and paste the values in attribute columns – e.g. Attribute 1 name, Attribute 1 value(s), Attribute 1 visible and Attribute 1 global. And then, import the CSV file.

For more information regarding the built-in importer and exporter, please refer to this page: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/
