Variable Search for SKU’s within Parent product

    Hi Guys,

    My website is selling many different product with parent product and child variations each with their own SKU e.g.

    Parent product: Apple
    Child variations: Red-Apple & Green-Apple

    I have a search function on my website at the moment but if I were to search ‘Red-Apple’ it would only show the parent item ‘Apple’ without the attributes pre-definded to show ‘Red-Apple’ so the customer would have to input the attributes manually.

    I am hoping that there would be a way to have the search pre-filter the attributes so that when searching for the SKU ‘Red-Apple’ it would give the child product attributes pre-defined so the customer would not need to select the attributes manually?

    If anyone could help me out that would be brilliant.

    Hi @liamwp21,

    As a first step, to get a better understanding of your setup, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status?

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
