Variable Products Issue

    Hi Guys,

    Can someone please help me with some advice or point me in the right direction?

    I am creating a WooCommerce website and I am in the process of creating variable products (silver pendants) for a jeweller. The pendants can be purchased with different types of chains and different sizes i.e. you can select a 14″ Fine Belcher Chain with any pendants. However, the 14″ chain length is ONLY available in Fine Belcher or Fine Curb nothing else, but when I select the 14″ chain option… all the other attribute show up which I feel is wrong especially when I haven’t created the variables that isn’t needed. Another weird issue is that this does work so when I select the 14″ chain, it only shows the Fine Belcher or Fine Curb option which is CORRECT. Now, as soon as I add another variable 30″ length available in Medium Belcher… all the attribute option shows for the 14″ chain length which i’m confused as to why they’re showing because I haven’t created these variables? There are no default variable setup on this product and I’ve tried different combination of adding in the variables differently but the same issue occurs. When you select the variable option on the frontend it just comes up with an error message to say “product option not available” which is fair, but surely it shouldn’t show if I haven’t created this?

    Hi there,

    If you have a lot of variations for this product, you may be running into the switch to AJAX for variation dropdowns.

    If you’d like to disable this, you can use a snippet to increase that variation threshold. Here’s one that you can place in your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/jrick1229/abc143604ee122fd3971ec79e56783b8
