Ok I disabled the login requirement
Unfortunately, I’m still being asked to login: https://d.pr/i/VAzDMG
I recommend checking the same on your end by trying to test the product page from an incognito window and let us know when the login requirement is actually disabled.
I found out that you need to create another staging site after removing the login. https://www.nespaosta.it/testnopw should works

I can access the site now. However, I see that the theme is not set to default and other plugins are active as well.
Can you set the theme to Storefront, and make sure that on the staging site (https://www.nespaosta.it/testnopw) all plugins except WooCommerce and WP Staging are disabled?
I activated Store front. Now I see that it works you can see at /testnopw/?product=prism&attribute_pa_colore=midnight-yellow&attribute_pa_taglia=m so now can you help me understand why it doesn’t work with my theme? thanks

As you can see, the variation images work with the default WooCommerce theme.
