Validation of forms via wp-cli possible?

    Hi,

    when maintaining customer sites remotely the re-appearing of the validation message cann become an issue. I do understand that this happens because of new validation rules that are introduced with an update. However, usually nothing had changed on existing sites. So, this message irritates the site owners and is terrible time-consuming since I have to log-in to each and every site to remove it.

    Can the validation somehow done with wp-cli?

    If not, is this a value in the options table that could be easily changed with a query? This wouldn’t be super fast, but at least better than logging-in to each site.

    I would suggest an option in the plugin settings to disable this message. It is a great feature, don’t get me wrong. But for existing sites there is usually no reason to re-validate the form, is it?

    We have the same problem. It is frustrating to re-do validation in several hundrets of installations. It is not the first time we have to do this. Costs much time.

    When it really must be that upon new validation rules a re-validation must be done – why can’t this be done automatically by the plugin and the admin is only notified with red badges in case this validation fails?

    It is not the most pleasant work, to log into several hundrets of installations just to click some buttons.

    An automatic validation might be too much work for the author. In most cases, it would be just fine to be able to disable this feature. While it is very useful for new installations, it is not needed on most sites that already have a working form.
