• After a lot of fiddling I got 2.6 to work – almost.

    I guess there were some changes to UTF-8 handling between 2.6 and 2.3.3. In 2.3.3, UTF-8 worked fine – I could use Czech characters just fine.

    In 2.6, the chars display as garbage.

    for example Petřín:
    this displayed correctly in 2.3.3 , but in 2.6 it displays as Pet?ín

    What’s more, in the editor it displays as Petřín.

    Paradoxically, Japanese displays fine. It’s just the Central European font that appears hosed…

    Is anyone else having issues with UTF-8?
