Using with a :tel link in the menu

    Hey!

    Great plugin! I have a wordpress menu that has been inserted into the top bar of our site and I’m trying to track a custom :tel link in that menu. I was able to verify the image custom link is being tracked and is working correctly. However, I cannot seem to get a response when clicking on the tel link. I set up two separate click events and used two separate class names for each of the links. Any thoughts on how to get that working?

    Hi @treyg,

    We may need to use the Advanced mode for tracking this phone number:
    1. Enable advanced mode in the General Settings tab
    2. Change your click tracking event from – phone-call with type class to –
    “.phone-call a” (no quotes but keep the dot) and set the type to advanced.
    I’m pretty sure that it will do the work, but I will be happy to take another look if it doesn’t
