Hello, let me know try and answer:

    1. Is your plugin set up for us to use it as a SaaS with any number of users?

A: perhaps I don’t fully understand, but it will work with any number of users…. as long as your WordPress server can hold it…. (never encountered any limitations…. and if someone did…. please share…).
The reason to that is that we’re using the same WordPress user as “subscriber”, exactly the same as user that are commenting to a post etc, so actually we’re just working with WordPress.

    2. Saas – yes, we’re also offering this solution as SaaS to some companies, but I believe we still miss some features in order to provide a complete solution, such as aggregating leads into a single location from multiple remote UpiCRM installations.
This is something we’re planning on our road-map, but alas – budgeting and priorities are playing a game here…. it will take some months unless a prominent demand shall arise sooner.

    3. different permissions:
currently we have but two levels of UpiCRM permissions :
    UpiCRM user
    UpiCRM administrator

UpiCRM users can only manage / view leads that are assigned to them, while admins can view / manage all leads.
Please have a look at this thread here:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/feature-requests-permissions-restrictions-and-contact-history?replies=2

we have a more granular definition/development for permissions management, specifically designed for a corporate with a sales team that is spread across the globe.

We’ll be happy to share this information/spec with you and receive your feedback, as well as prioritize our schedules / roadmap based on your needs.

First off, thank you so much for your VERY prompt and thorough reply.Excellent support. It sounds like we can provide a nice CRM to a large number of users via our current hosting platform: BlueHost http://www.bluehost.com/managed-wordpress-hosting .

I am not sure the ramifications of your answer to #2, but someone on our team should be able to better explain it to me. I am not sure if that current limitation is of matter to us. We want our reps to log in wherever they are, and access the accounts they are hunting. We want to be able to keep track of their progress, assigning more leads or reassigning their leads to others if need be. What limitations do you see based on our simple CRM requirements?

Sounds like your permissions will suffice for now. We like that things can be simple.

Thank you again for your wonderful reply.

    Hey again!
Indeed it sounds like our solution will work for you. That’s exactly what our customers are using it for.

Give it a try and if you’ll need another feature or capability just let us know.

    Thanks

Hi Uri! Someone on our team think you cannot do attachments within your CRM. Is that true?

    THANKS!

    Hi,
    Indeed it’s a bit tricky.

    What we do:

    1. create a field named “file” with your contact form plugin.
    2. add new field type names “attached-file” with UpiCRM
    3. map form’s field “file” to UpiCRM new field “attached-file”

Now every lead you’ll receive will be able to send attached files, and you’ll get a notification for new attachments.

Problem/difficulty is: you’ll need go to the forms list of all leads in order to access the attachment.

I’ve just tried it, can send you the screen captures by mail if you need.
I believe we’ll solve this issue , but must admit it’s a priority on current road map… sorry.

Is there anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

    Thanks
    Uri
