Using this theme

    ok im currently working on my first porfolio/Personal site offline on my local machine and I am using this template http://themeforest.net/item/locus-responsive-one-page-wordpress-theme/112800

    which I purchased for 35- 40 odd bucks for. I liked the template but now im only realising that it doesnt have a system where users can register on my site and login.. 🙁 is ther a plugin I could use in conjunction with this theme allow logins/ registeration and after register it would say like “welcome Blain” or somethin similar?

    any help be hugely gratefull or reccomended plugins that work? I tried a few plugins,,,,,there half working, but I think ther conflicting with existing code if that makes sense :/

    Are you sure this is comaptabale with my theme? :/ and that the free version works>?

    You should look to theme forest for support — they will be able to give you the best information and help with their themes. In general, commercial (paid) themes are not supported here — as their code is not freely available to people here. Support is part of what you pay for.

    Give me some time to get over to Theme Forest, buy the theme, set it up, install the plugin and test. I’ll let you know what I find out about compatibility. Post the current plugins you have installed and the specifics of your hosting environment. What version of PHP are they using. Is it Linux?

    @ WPyogi yea iv asked and this was the response I got

    ‘Unfortunately we haven’t tested such a plugin before so we can’t say anything for sure.’

    WOW if you do all that for me I will be very grateful flashbuddy.currently I have installed and unistalled severlay plugins(messing around) but im back to two plugin installed at the moment – WordPress Importer and the s2members plugin you recomemnded

    and iv bein trying to get my head around s2 members getting it working.

    All in in all what im only looking for is say —

    1.a register or login link at the top right part ov my webpage.
    2.Lets users login and displays ther user name in top right hand side. For now I dont need memberships,or paypal accounts info etc that s2members seems to offer, just a basic login site. :/

    P.S all my testin is done on local machine for now however I have paid for my domain and web hosting and its going to use PHP 4.4.x Linux and PHP 5.2.x
