using themes listed on WordPress

    I am brand new at this, just starting my pages and I have picked a theme I like but cannot figure out how to put it on my site. Not sure what version I am using.

    Hi karenhymer, welcome to WordPress!

    Have you had a look yet at the Using Themes page in the documentation?

    There are instructions on how to add new themes using various methods, hopefully that will help.
