How do you control the height of the featured image when you want to make it the header background on a page other than the homepage?
On my pages the featured image is much to deep, takes up the whole browser window.
    Thanks

The height of the full-width featured images on pages is set to a minimum height on desktop and also on smartphone. The reason minimum height is used is so we can be sure that the height of the image is taller than the text that is overlaid on it. In Flat Bootstrap, the min heights are 400px for desktop and and 340px for smartphone. The image will crop to fit the space.

If you are seeing an image that is so high its filling up the whole browser window on a desktop computer, then I would assume you have a lot of text be overlaid. You could shorten the text or use CSS to reduce the font size(s).
