using markdown extra and syntax hilighting

    i am trying to use html extra AND syntax highlighting on the same blog. whenever i use the

    [sourcecode language='php']

    code here..

    [/sourcecode]

    but when the page renders, i still get

    “[sourcecode]” in my entries, but no highlighting..

    it seems that the system isn’t recognizing the plugin..

    any help would be appreciated..
