Using & in email address

    Hello, I need to register an email address with the amp in it, but when saved it gets escaped from say R&D to Ramp;ampD. I say that wordpress allows ampersands in email addresses. Since I’m using NUA in my workflow I believe the transformation is operated by this plugin. Is it correct, and in case, can you do something about it?
