Using generic search

    I have noticed you cannot use WordPress’ generic search to find events. Instead, you have to use the search that comes with the plugin. I guess, rightly so because you can also search geographically.

    Is there a way to make events appear even in generic searches? E.g. example.com/?s=query

    Yes, you can try the option under Events > Settings > Pages > Event list/archives > Include in WordPress Searches =Yes
