Using Flash music player with PHP instead of Javascript

  • I have a Flash music player I’d like to display on http://snailquail.net. The instructions for the player include a javascript embed code. I haven’t been able to figure out how to make it work in WordPress but I imagine creating equivalent code in PHP would make it work much more easily.

The player can be viewed here http://snailquail.net/testninja.html

I’d like this player to be on the “Listen” page. Any help would be appreaciated!!

  • To use php in a WP post you should us a plugin. Native php support in posts isn’t available.

Do you know what the PHP would look like to reference the XML and SWF file for the player if I did get a plugin to use PHP?

Nah, not exact. If the site gives instructions for javascript embedding, you could also try an javascript plugin.
