Unfortunately, SJB is not compatible with the Elementor plugin, but you can check compatibility by testing SJB against Elementor created pages.
In this case, if SJB is not compatible with Eelementor then you can make it compatible using custom modification with the help of an expert WP plugin developer.

Where does SJB pull from for the page layout then? Maybe I could try digging around in my themes files too change the default layout to something else for SJB to pull from. Really just want to add some padding to the top, change the text color, remove a sidebar, and change the background color / add a background overlay color.

Thank you to keep in contact with us.
Basically, the SJB uses the template from its directory as: wp-content\plugins\simple-job-board\templates for the page layout. However, we’ve created the SJB modification friendly.
And if you have a strong technical background you can use available hooks to easily customize the SJB templates.
